About the Speaker: Dr Ian M Balfour-Lynn
I am a consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital as well as Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. I specialise in all aspects of paediatric respiratory medicine including both tertiary and secondary care. Tertiary care involves children with cystic fibrosis, difficult asthma, congenital lung malformations, serious respiratory infections and other rarer conditions. I am also experienced in flexible bronchoscopy in children including small infants. Secondary care is principally for children with asthma, recurrent cough & wheeze, breathlessness with exercise, and recurrent chest infections.
