On Thursday 23rd May at 8pm, Dr Mary Miller, Consultant in Palliative Medicine, Clinical Lead for EOLC in OUH NHS Trust and Lead for Medical Education in Sobell Study Centre, will present a CPD webinar on ‘Deprescribing Toward the End of Life’.

Many of our frail and ill patients are taking many medications every day. As patients approach the end of their lives are we good at reviewing medications and considering which to stop and which to continue? Dr Mary Miller will discuss an approach and the evidence base which will help underpin your practice.

Expected Learning Outcomes

1) Understand the resources that might support deprescribing
2) Be aware of the evidence base around deprescribing at the end of life
3) Have a list of medications to be reviewed in patients who are approaching the end of their lives

This webinar is equivalent to 1 CPD credit
